Ahdāf: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam (e-ISSN 2987-2812) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (February and August) by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Islamic Education, UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah Lhokseumawe. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the study and development of Islamic Education and is intended to disseminate innovative ideas, conceptual insights, and research findings related to educational, social, and religious issues. Ahdāf publishes high-quality empirical and theoretical research that explores the various dimensions of Islamic Education across all levels and types of Islamic educational institutions. The scope of the journal includes discussions on instructional strategies, curriculum development and implementation, instructional media and learning resources, learning evaluation, instructional practices, inclusive education within the Islamic education context, as well as action research related to the improvement of Islamic education. Contributions from both national and international scholars are welcome to enrich academic discourse and provide broader perspectives on the development of Islamic Education.

The August 2025 edition of Ahdāf: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam features five selected articles that address contemporary developments in Islamic education. The discussions include the formulation of Islamic education curricula based on principles and values, as well as the prophetic leadership model presented in Nūrul Mubīn by KH. Hasyim Asy‘ari, teachers’ strategies in shaping students’ character within pesantren education, the adaptive transformation of Islamic Education teachers’ professionalism in the digital era, and the consistency of inclusive education practices in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah. Collectively, these studies offer significant insights into strengthening values-based leadership, pedagogical innovation, and inclusive practices in Islamic educational contexts.
