Author Guidelines

JETLEE, the distinguished Journal of English Language Teaching, Linguistics, and Literature, extends a warm invitation to scholars and experts immersed in the fields of Linguistics, Applied linguistics, Language and gender, Language and globalization, English Language Teaching, Language research methods, Ethnics and indigenous language, and Literature. Our journal serves as a platform for original, research-based articles that drive insightful discussions and enrich the academic landscape. We embrace a commitment to quality, originality, and excellence in every submission.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Originality and Exclusivity: Submitted articles should be entirely original, not previously published, and not concurrently under review by other journals. We prioritize research that contributes novel insights to the discourse.

  2. Thorough Review Process: All submitted manuscripts undergo a meticulous review process involving the scrutiny of our editors, editorial board, and anonymous blind reviewers. Adherence to our guidelines on formatting and length is paramount to avoid rejection without review.

  3. Article Length: Articles should be written in English and range from approximately 4,000 to 6,000 words. This word count encompasses the entire content, including text, tables, figures, notes, references, and appendices. A concise abstract of approximately 150 words and 5 keywords should accompany each submission.

Manuscript Formatting:

  1. Peer Review: JETLEE operates a double-blind peer-review process. To facilitate this, the authors' names (without academic titles), institutional affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author should only appear on a detachable cover sheet.

  2. Language and Style: Manuscripts should be written in American English, utilizing single spacing, font size 12 (Times New Roman). Consistency in style enhances readability and uniformity.

  3. Header and Page Numbering: An even-page header should feature the Journal's name, Volume, Number, month, year, and page number. Page numbers are inserted at the footer, aligning to the right for odd numbers and left for even numbers.

Submission Process:

  1. Electronic Submission: Authors are requested to submit their papers via email and the journal's online submission platform. Simultaneous submission to multiple journals is discouraged.

  2. Title: The title should be succinct, engaging, and informative, capturing the essence of the research. A shorter version (maximum 100 characters including spaces) is required for running headers. The title is typed in bold, using capital letters for each word's beginning (except conjunctions and prepositions) in Times New Roman (16pt).

  3. Author Information: A list of authors, including affiliations and email addresses, should be provided. Clear addresses facilitate effective communication. These details will be published unless otherwise specified. Font: Times New Roman (12pt for author, 9pt for affiliation).

JETLEE is committed to fostering a scholarly environment that encourages rigorous research, innovative insights, and impactful contributions. Through adherence to our guidelines, we aim to facilitate the seamless exchange of knowledge and ideas, nurturing a thriving community of academic inquiry.
