Published: 2024-06-30

This issue brings together eight scholarly articles examining diverse themes in Islamic education management and contemporary pedagogical practice. The topics include student management strategies to enhance achievement and services at Dayah Mataqu Ustman Bin Affan Lhokseumawe, the use of classical Cooperative Learning methods in teaching traditional Islamic texts (kitab kuning), and the application of learning theories in parenting approaches in the digital era. Other articles explore the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 1 Kutai Kartanegara, the integration of local wisdom values into pesantren education management, and the application of organizational behaviour approaches to boost teachers’ work motivation. This edition also features a study on curriculum development in Islamic education inspired by Muhammad Iqbal’s progressive thoughts, alongside an analysis of how Management Information Systems contribute to improving educational quality at SMPS Galih Agung Deli Serdang. Together, these contributions reflect Itqan’s ongoing commitment to publishing contextual, practical, and relevant research that supports the advancement of Islamic education in Indonesia and beyond.
