About the Journal
Saree in Acehnese means even, equal, and level. The word Saree philosophically describes the balance between men and women. Balance refers to the collaboration of roles between men and women that emphasizes the concept of harmony in the relationship between men and women, without differences in position, wealth, descent, ethnicity, race and class. The scope of the study focuses on Islamic-based gender and children. It welcomes submissions on gender and child issues from any perspective, including religion, economics, feminism, culture, history, education, law, art, communication, and politics. Saree : Research in Gender Studies with e-ISSN: 2746-4466 is under the Institute for Community Service and Research (LP2M) IAIN Lhokseumawe and published twice a year in June and December.
