Plagiarism Policy

The Editorial Team of Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) if plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication in Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service.

Definition:
 Plagiarism is an act that is done intentionally or unintentionally in obtaining or trying to obtain an award or value for a scientific work, by citing part or all of another person's scientific work and/or a work that is recognized as a scientific work, without mentioning the source accurately and adequately.

For this reason, then:

The article must be original, have never been published before, and not be awaiting publication elsewhere. Material taken orally from other sources must be clearly identified so that it differs from the original text.

If plagiarism is found, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve actions according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:

Plagiarism Rate1. Plagiarizing a few short sentences from another article without mentioning the source. Action: The author is given a warning and asked to change the text and quote correctly.2. Plagiarize most other articles without citing properly and not mentioning the source. Action: Submitted article refused to be published in Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service and the author may be sanctioned for not being allowed to be published in Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service

All article writers are responsible for the content of the articles they submit because they all sign the Letter of Authenticity of Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service. If the article is classified as plagiarism, then all authors will be subject to the same action.

If the author is proven to have sent the manuscript to Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service by sending it simultaneously to another journal, and the overlap is found during the reviewer process or after publication, then action is taken according to point 2 above.

If plagiarism is found outside the above provisions, the editor of Malik Al-Shalih: Journal of Community Service has the right to give sanctions according to the editor's policy.
