Author Guideline

ARTICLE WRITING GUIDELINES

  1. An accepted article is an article that has never been published in any journal in the form or has not been accepted for publication
  2. Articles in the form of community service that have relevance to the fields of education, human resource development, health, human development and national competitiveness, economy, social, small and medium enterprises, as well as the development of environmentally friendly technology and appropriate technology. The article is accompanied by a statement of authenticity from the author stating that the article written is really his own work and does not contain elements of plagiarism.

Systematics of writing

  1. The article consists of 3000-5000 words, typed with 1.15 spaces on A4 size paper with a size 11 Book Antiqua font. The writing will be published in Indonesian and United Kingdom.
  2. The composition of the article consists of: Title, Author, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and Bibliography.

 

Article Writing Conditions:

Title: maximum 15 words. The title is typed in the letters Book Antiqua, 14 letters of the usual left flat print.

Author's name : or author's name typed under the title with the letters Book Antiqua 10, bold, without title and should not be abbreviated. Under the name write the field of expertise, the name of the institution, the address, and the email of the author.

Abstract: no more than 300 words, written in United Kingdom and Indonesia, in one paragraph containing: service objectives, activity methods, and activity outcomes. Typed in Book Antiqua letters, single space, and italicized. Below the abstract are keywords with a maximum word count of 5 words, separated by semicolons, double spaces, typed under the abstract.

Introduction: The introduction is typed in capital letters [Book Antiqua font 13 bold] which contains the background of the problem to be researched, the urgency and rationalization of the activity, the literature review, the problem-solving plan, and the purpose of the activity [Book Antiqua font, 12, normal]

Method: The research method explains: the implementation method used in service activities. The method is explained clearly and in detail [font Book Antiqua, 12, Normal]

Results and Discussion: Describe the results or outcomes of service can be in the form of increasing knowledge, skills or in the form of products. The results also revealed the level of achievement of the activity goals. If it is in the form of an object, it needs an explanation of the product specifications, advantages and disadvantages. Output writing needs to be equipped with photos, tables, graphs, diagrams, drawings, and so on. The discussion is sequential in accordance with the purpose and has been explained before. The discussion is accompanied by logical arguments by relating the results of PkM with theories, other PkM results and/or research results.

Conclusion: written concisely but describing the substance of the service results and recommendations for further service activities.

Reference: The bibliography is written based on the 5th APA (American Psychological Association) model. The bibliography is organized using Reference Managers (endnotes, Mendeley, Zotero, etc.) for easy editing and review. At least 80% of the referenced sources are in the form of libraries published in the last 5 years. [Book Antiqua, 12, normal].

Conclusion and Suggestions: The conclusion contains a brief summary of the results of the research and discussion. The conclusion is a research finding in the form of an answer to a research question or research objective. The results of the research provide suggestions/contributions for the application and/or development of science. [Book Antiqua, 12, normal].
