The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on students (ṭalabah) as the primary subjects. The main data sources include the head of the madrasa, teachers, and the head of student care. Data collection techniques encompass in-depth interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis is conducted through three stages: data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study reveal that Dayah MATAQU employs various strategies for student admissions, including promotion to nearby schools, the use of social media, online registration, and the establishment of registration points in key student areas. The admission process involves academic tests, interviews, and evaluations of report card grades and School Final Exams. Accepted students must meet criteria that include academic performance, behavior, and health. Student development includes routine worship activities, extracurricular activities, and disciplinary actions according to violations. Services provided to students cover administration, learning processes, rule enforcement, communication with families, and guidance by ustadz and ustadzah. These comprehensive services have led to student achievements at national and local levels and increased self-confidence through the Tasmī’ Akbar activities. The study recommends that Dayah MATAQU continue to enhance training programs for ustaz and ustazah to improve the quality of services and student development. It is also essential to expand extracurricular programs that support the development of students' character and achievements.
Salma Salma, Muhammad Syafri Copyright (c) 2024 Salma, Muhammad Syafri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.iainlhokseumawe.ac.id/index.php/itqan/article/view/824 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Cooperative Learning Klasikal dalam Pembelajaran Kitab Kuning: Studi pada Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Lumajang https://journal.iainlhokseumawe.ac.id/index.php/itqan/article/view/2013
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Classical Cooperative Learning model in the study of Kitab Kuning at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum, Lumajang, using an input-process-output evaluation approach. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The Classical Cooperative Learning model at this pesantren consists of four stages: material explanation, group learning, assessment, and team recognition. The results indicate that the Classical Cooperative Learning model is effective in enhancing students' understanding of Kitab Kuning. The material explanation stage helps students comprehend complex vocabulary and language structures. The group learning stage facilitates active interaction and cooperation among students, which improves collective understanding. Assessment through tests and quizzes comprehensively measures individual and group progress. The team recognition stage provides additional motivation for students by rewarding group achievements. The implications of this study suggest that the Classical Cooperative Learning model can be applied as an effective method for Kitab Kuning learning in other pesantren. With its structured and group cooperation-based approach, this model not only enhances academic achievement but also social skills and student motivation.
Hafid Hafid, Badrun Fawaidi Copyright (c) 2024 Hafid Hafid, Badrun Fawaidi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.iainlhokseumawe.ac.id/index.php/itqan/article/view/2013 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Aktualisasi Teori-Teori Pembelajaran dalam Pola Asuh di Era Digital https://journal.iainlhokseumawe.ac.id/index.php/itqan/article/view/2351
This research reveals the issue of actualizing learning theories in parenting in the digital era, using a research synthesis approach in exploring relevant theories and for the accuracy of the data collected, qualitative analysis was used. The background of this research is based on the importance of preserving and integrating local values into the pesantren education system to shape the character and leadership of students. The research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. These values are internalized through various management strategies, including a clear organizational structure, an integrative curriculum, and the central role of teachers in providing examples. This management not only strengthens students' identities but also makes a significant contribution to the preservation of local culture and the development of entrepreneurial potential among students. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the implementation of the school website and the Academic Information System (Dapodik) has enhanced information accessibility and management efficiency. The school website provides a real-time platform for students, parents, and teachers to access important information, while Dapodik speeds up academic administrative processes such as recording student attendance and grades. The implementation of these systems has facilitated information access, improved administrative efficiency, and positively impacted lesson planning and parental involvement in education. The study also identified challenges in resource management and monitoring, such as a lack of guidelines for activity planning and an imbalance in staff workload. The training provided has improved staff understanding of planning, and the redistribution of teaching duties has reduced workload-related complaints. The implications of this research suggest that effective management information system implementation can enhance educational quality by facilitating information access, improving administrative efficiency, and supporting a more structured learning process.
Harun Lubis, Tirta Yogi Aulia Copyright (c) 2024 Harun Lubis, Tirta Yogi Aulia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.iainlhokseumawe.ac.id/index.php/itqan/article/view/2420 Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000
